As a member of the WTT Future of Payments Working Group (FPWG), it was a pleasure working with colleagues on the paper published this morning on the impact of digital currencies on the future of payments. Through this paper, the FPWG adds its voice to the discussion and debate in regard to the desirability, positioning and impacts on the UK payments infrastructure of a multi-functional central bank digital currency for the UK.
